No. 3 Idiot-Proof Home Gardening (No Soil Needed)

If you've been to a grocery store recently, you've seen the bare shelves. No worries! Growing plenty of essential cooking ingredients at home is easier than you think. All you need is water and exposure to sunlight. It’s a great source of herbs and veggies, saves money and helps lower your carbon footprint. Here is a short list. It’s time to start YouTubing home gardening 101.

  • Basil and other leafy herbs
  • Scallion and garlic sprouts
  • Avocado
  • Bok Choy
  • Celery
  • Microgreens (radishes, sunflowers, peas, etc.)
  • Tomatoes and peppers (these may take a bit more effort, but hey the reward is very satisfying)

No.4 Deep Cleanse Home Spa

From portable home sauna sets to organic lemon scrubs, have relaxation delivered to you door. Take this chance to rejuvenate (but do remember to remove the clay mask before conference calls).

Parsley and lemon are our favorite organic ingredients that make you skin glow.  Warm parsley water is natural way to unclog pores. Fresh lemon juice provides ample citric acid to exfoliate skin. And this is just a start.

There are a whole lot of easy-to-find and natural ingredients that are good for your body. And they are only a few clicks away.  Do a bit research and and treat your body well. It’s a rare opportunity that you are not in a hurry to go anywhere.

No.5 Digital Detox

Do you feel the pressure to constantly keep up with social media? This is a wonderful chance to unplug (plus, no one has any must-see social event going on anyway). Turn off your phone and focus on a book, a drawing, a board game, a new recipe, or pick up your New Year's resolutions right where you left off. Your skin will thank you for the time away from the blue light and may be your mind will too.
